I was responsible for overseeing the design, development and code reviews for their IBM DB2 applications. Additionally, I was a backup DBA. I was also responsible for coding web tools in Golang or JavaScript using Vue and Express.

I was responsible for overseeing the development and code reviews of their Oracle PL/SQL procedures. I was also responsible for the implementation of the utPlSql unit testing to better improve their deployment processes. I also started the process of implementing Docker into their environment.

Senior Software Developer

I was part of a team working on the server side responsible for developing and implementing a fingerprint tracking system.

This includes:

Back end Spring development using Java Spring MVC utilizing Intellij. We implemented SOAP and Restful web services. We also included mariadb, mysql and Oracle databases. For the middle ware we utilized a miroservice architecture implementing rabbitMq with an alternative messageing service activeMq. I was also instrumental in the development of their HA/DR system deploying an HAProxy server configuration.

Wrote analytics programs in Spark using Scala.

Responsible for developing and implementing a prototype Data Warehouse for a Big Data application.
